What a Week

I started out this week with an interesting happening. I was driving across a viaduct from the west side of town toward the central side with a client in my car. Running the opposite direction was a man with no clothes on paying no attention to the rest of the world. It was roughly 25-30 degrees outside and he wasn't even wearing any shoes. I was completely shocked to see this at 4:30 in the afternoon on a Monday. Okay - any day at any time I still would have been shocked. I just kept thinking, this is only Monday. Sorry everyone - no picture to attach. The next day was a snow day and I didn't have to go to work. I had the whole day to recover.

Now I'm going to talk about something that I never do - politics. Yes it's a topic that should be avoided amongst friends and coworkers, but I feel like going against the taboo today. While serving in Tonga I read many books in my free time. One that really struck me was by Barack Obama. I told Tevita then that I would love if this guy ran for President. Well that time is now and the race couldn't be closer. The details of why I support him could probably be picked apart by all the non-supporters, which is why politics runs so deep, but that won't change the passion that I feel when I listen to him speak. I'm officially making my pledge to Barack Obama. Too bad I'm not a Superdelegate.

Enough of the heavy talk...I'm ready for spring. I want to let my hair grow out and just sit in the sunshine.
